Woke Up in a Strange Place is a story of a journey, and like so, plenty of surprises, discoveries and lessons to learn.

It is an initiatory tale, filled with a beautiful and poetic prose, so we are immersed in an ocean of scenes full of a choreographed dance dictated by Freedom and Love.

Any writer lodges within himself an unique world built with echoes of what he dreamed and he learned throughout  life. Woke Up in a Strange Place summarizes the wonderful universe of Eric Arvin and inside it we find everything the author has learned throughout his very difficult life in the form of a  ray of hope and graceful libertinism. It is a book that discovers us what might be behind the black curtain of death, a wonderful trip that begins, like the story, at the very end of the road. Joe is the main character of this poetic story. A unstructured character whose unique mission is to look for and to obtain the real truth, the real love: that one we have to give to ourselves.

Only people of the stature of Eric Arvin are able to realize that love towards ourselves, the complete, irrevocable and infinite love towards which we are, how we are and what we have done, is the key to liberation and happiness.
