No te olvido aún/And I don’t forget you.
El día a día/ The days we're living, Los días idos/ The days gone

Salvatore Sapienza is a writer. A good one. Seventy Times Seven is a journey into Vito’s life, struggles, fears, feelings and realities fills with this gentle touch, this warmth sense of joy and greatfulness that made it such a brilliant and tender book.
It’s a love story. A love stroy between two men searching for love, understanding and acceptance. A love story between a soul and a religion and God. A discovery, an open journey into one man cosmos as he discovers the real world, the authentic world, inside him.
Vito and Gabe’s story is tender, touching and refreshing. It’s candid but direct; it’s funny but so romantic; is so real, that maybe it is real life and not fiction. And Seventy Times Seven teachs us that religion, homosexuality, God, sex and love are not too far from our real selves; even though, it’s an example of the ilusion that billions of people are still living: we’re all queer people, we’re all struggling with faith issues, love issues and self acceptance.
I do like to play with Savatore Sapienza’s name: Salvatore’s Sapience… His sapience is a wonderful gift. And I’m honoured to share it with him and with you.
Siguiendo un camino ya pautado…
Following someone else’s plan…
This wonderful photographer and blogger, among other things, Ignacio Izquierdo, is now doing one of the biggest dreams human nature can afford with his wonderful camera and his extraordinary eye: travel around the world.
His journey started some time ago in London; it came through Tokyo to his own mother land and now is spreading his wings looking for the best shot he can find about his inner self.
A little piece of his precious photos, all of them filled with his genle spirit and incisive eye.
We can follow his dream through his own blog: Crónicas de una Cámara
He’s traveling through Russia: saint Petersburg, Moscow, Transiberian Train…
All these dreamy cities and locations are fascinating pieces of art, strong human determination and solitude.
Isn’t it sad look at a mutilated statue? Nevertheless, such beauty gives to us great joy… Our world is so accustomed to live with broken dreams, stolen ideals and destroyed images that it has lost all of its roots, and the fragmented Art is capable to transmit to us all of its scent, all of its suffereing and fragmented secrets thanks to this disgrace.
Love is the same, fills with deep wounds. And dark resentfulness. We are able to see in this amount of pieces either just a broken toys, or, as well, and maybe in the middle of a miracle, the beauty of the authentic, the grace of unique.
Love has no equal, even though it is always the same spirit. But when love is shattered, life drowns to the ground and vanish under our feet leaving us alone and completely destroyed, as those mutilated statues have been abandoned under the ground during centuries. Until light goes through them again, and compassion reveals them and teach us that those profound wounds that once had destroyed their inner beauty are the same wounds that once harmed our love , leaving in them the same kind of sorrow and the same weight of solitude that our heart carry on with determination and sadness.
A broken world still be a living planet. A corrupted statue, even mutilated, still be beautiful. A destroyed heart keeps beating up. One love, even melted with ashes, still be fresh in the remembrances.

The end of May is also the end of springtime, the end of ever surprising rain, the last chance to feel the fierce of the wind on the face; the last chance to see the brightest gift of blossoming flowers. There will be no more iris and lilacs; roses will be smaller as smaller the hopes for refreshment and peace; the sun will stay perpendicular and slower and fierceful and eternal; and beguins the time of the never ending white nights…Summer is around the corner, now that May ends at last.
No te extraño nada.
O casi.

I don’t miss you. At all. I don’t think in your beauty, so dark and so profound. I don’t even remember your scent, delightful and iridescent as the light through our windows.
Now that May’s ending, I don’t evoke your honey eyes, brilliant and sincere; your gravity body that embraced mine; I can’t even recall the softened skin sprayed by perspiration once the morning came and we were already tired and consumed. And the enigmatic force of your legs, curled around my body with hunger and craziness pain.
I don’t remember your birthday, in the warmth July. Or mine, in the middle of May.
I don’t miss your voice, deepest as any winter night, sparkled with the beauty of your theeth and the mint smell of your breath.
Now that I don’t miss you, the new light is awakening me this morning, and everything is covering with this new glow, and this new glow only reminds me the empty space your body left behind and my solitude.
No. I don’t miss you. At all.
