La última vez que estuve en Barcelona fue por muy poco tiempo. Aún así, y aprovechando un maravilloso hotel con vistas, me lancé unas horas a recorrer de arriba para abajo el paseo de Gracia, uno de esos lugares que marcan la vida de una ciudad.

Last time I was in Barcelona, it was for only one day, but, having the grace of a great hotel and a room with a view, I just took myself to the Paseo de Gracia, and enjoyed a few hours doing nothing but appreciated the wonderful buildings and tasted the life of this wonderful part of the city.

Me encanta la forma ecléctica de la arquitectura del Paseo. Tiene tanto de su creador, que, en vez de pesar, parece apoyar la mezcla de géneros estilísticos, lo que prueba que lo verdaderamente bello une y amalgama, sin importunar ni imponer.

I was there for work, so, I didn’t take with me the camera. But I couldn’t stand being in this beautiful place without ejoying it so I left the meeting and, with my phone, I tried to captured just for fun, some of the beauty I was surrounded by.

Era un día de recién estrenada primavera. Aunque yo me encontraba estupendamente, los barceloneses parecían tener algo más de frío que yo. Y, sin embargo, el sol del Mediterráneo se colaba por entre los árboles… Sólo fue un día; pero fue un gran día.

It was a wonderful  early spring day I had in Barcelona. Everything was perfect, because I wasn’t looking for it.
